is there a way to maintain peptide linkage in a protein at high temperatures without it decomposing, would it be as simple as an anhydrous environment
to prevent hydrolysis?

Proteins also denature at high temperatures into irreversible conformations - is that not going to be a problem?

its really just the acid chain, not really bothered about 'r' groups reacting
