A gas collecting tube is a glass tube with two stopcocks at each end, used to collect gases.
General
The gas collecting tube consists of a tubular container, made of borosilicate glass. At each end there is a well greased glass or PTFE stopcock. Some models have a side tube with a septum and plastic screw.
