Potassium chlorate waste
As a second product of reaction, I'm planning to do, I will get about 150g of potassium chlorate. And for now I don't have any ideas what to do with
it instead of just put on shelf. I'm interested in some synthetic processes (not mixing with sugar, gummy bear, making chlorine or decomposing to
chloride etc.) Any ideas?

I would purify by recrystalization, dry it and store it
you could use it with MnO2 as a source of oxygen
or you could use it as a weed-killer to dispose of it usefully

Nothing, but 150g is far too much and I would like to perform some synthesis. KClO3 itself is quite poorly soluble in water (as a potassium salt) so
it limits it usage.

Mind if I ask what kind of reaction is it?

The one, I'm going to do? So, I had an opportunity to buy barium chlorate. I would react it with potassium iodide and by differences in solubility
separate potassium chlorate (far worse soluble) from barium iodide. I would use this salt to prepare other iodides as it will form insoluble barium
sulfate after reacting with different sulfates salts.

Maybe check Woelen's website...he does many interesting things with chlorates amongst others.
