Utter Poo

Board seems a bit quiet at the mo, so i thought i'd say Poo.

Some attempts have been posted regarding the recovery of useful chemicals from Pee (all failed).

Has anyone tried (successfully) to recover anything useful from Poo ?

Bilirubin for example.

Not human poo, but parrot shit is apparently a highly viable source of uric acid. http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=30380

Smells like ammonia....

Yep, they are like this but in a slightly different configuration. I am using 3 strung together in in series. I am trying to mimic a cows stomach so I have them at different PH.
I found it really hard to get going at first.
