natural vs. redistilled
I need to know the difference between a natural chemical and a redistilled chemical. Specifically dimethyl sulfide. Is the natural a much better
product? Will there be any noticiable difference in the aroma? any info would be great.

What's the application? There isn't any difference if the chemicals are pure. And whether it's distilled means nothing about how good of a product it
is.
Generally, if it's distilled, then it means that it is purer, but that's all distillation does.
If both are pure, there will be no difference in the aroma, although, you're talking about dimethyl sulfide, hard to call that an aroma.
A natural chemical isn't a definitive term, can you clarify what you mean? Also provide a link to what you are trying to buy (assuming you want to buy
something.)

Distillation is basically a purification technique.
It only works well if the boiling point of the thing you want is quite different to the BP of any impurities.
Be aware that the BP you want can be messed up if your stuff is in an azeotropic relationship with one or more of the impurities (e.g. water).
Whether distillation can be employed as a Stench Adjuster is unknown.
Experiment and find out !
EDIT:
There is no meaningful difference between 'natural' and 'purified' in the context of 1 chemical, unless 'natural' means 'contaminated with stuff
related to it's manufacture' or 'impure'.

The distilled will be more pure, so I'm guessing it's more expensive?
If money is too big of an object, but purity is required, you could distill it yourself, if you have the equipment and experience.

The cheaper one is less pure - i.e. more contaminated.
'Natural' means 'bag of rotten cabbage' is all
Distillation takes time and effort, so it costs more.
Buy the cheap stuff and distill it to get the good stuff.
It boils at 37.4 C

Hmm, well that means they are targeting "tree huggers" who just want it to be natural. The distilled will be purer still, so get that for sure.

I really hope so !
MoonSourcerer & Co buy all the eco crap, SA make money, and we get cheaper and purer reagents.
Windy/win/win situation.

humans are "natural". Humans make stuff. Ergo human made stuff is natural.

status, nationality, citizenship, etc" z-lib

Funny.
My personal belief is that humans are a Natural Phenomenon.
The notion of Natural And Un-Natural presupposes that humans are somehow Special and separate from this little planet.
We are not.
Even the most noxious and deadly of our products are entirely 'Natural'.
Humankind behaves much like Cattle most of the time.
Eat, Rut, produce Gas and bullshit.
Edit: we sometimes Shine, but rarely.
