Isoamyl Acetate to Isoamyl alcohol

Is there a way to convert Isoamyl Acetate to Isoamyl alcohol?
I need the alcohol, but can only purchase the acetate.

Thanks

As with most alkyl acetates, fusion with NaOH ought to do it.

Ok,

Isoamyl acetate it is a colorless liquid that is only slightly soluble in water, but very soluble in most organic (wikipedia).

By fusion I understand 2 solids.

How is the procedure?
Add stoichometric NaOH pellets into the acetate?
Add excess? (2 fold - 10 fold amount?)

Then heat and destill?

Could you advice how the fusion is performed? and how to obtain the alcohol?

Thanks
