Chemical Resistance of Phenolic Plastics
Ordered some borosilicate glass vials, although they came with threaded phenolic plastic caps. Does anyone have experience with these? How do they
hold up?

Not sure... Could you perhaps cut discs from a sheet of PTFE (available cheap on eBay) and use that to line them?

I did not know the answer so I googled it ...
e.g. http://k-mac-plastics.net/data/chemical/phenolic-chemical-.h...
Although not perfect, a few layers of plastic film, 'cling wrap' (available in PE or sometimes PVC) over the mouth and threads, held on by the cap,
works quite well.
(I trim the excess after tightening with scissors - just to make it look prettier.)
I use this for short to medium term storage, I've not tried for extended periods (>1 year)
