about the shaped charge
Hello. How are you doing. I am a new member of this wonderful forum. Beginning thank you for giving valuable information for free. And so sorry if
this topic is not in the exact place. I want to ask the people of expertise and experience questions about the shaped charges:
1. What is the best way for the formation of copper cone?
as example the metal spinning machine is a good way? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzL8RiacXwo
What are the other ways? and what is the difference between shear forming machine and metal spinning machine?
2. can you give me a reference to estimate the thickness of cone wall?
3. Assuming the existence of copper cone with angle of 42 and an external diameter of 130 mm and the existence of the subjects of theRDX and TNT. How
it will penetrate according to a preliminary estimate of the iron?
Thanking you in advance.
waiting replay, With best wishes

The answers to all your questions are in the unconventional shaped charges thread.
There is a pdf on electroforming copper cones which would be one of the best ways here: http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=14093
There is a pdf called optimized conical shaped charge design that has cone thickness to charge size and penetration ratios and a lot of other
information. Just type it into google and it should be first result
Here is a page that can calculate penetration based on some known factors:
http://www.alternatewars.com/BBOW/Ballistics/Shaped_Charge_H...
Penetration tests would be better conducted on steel than iron as I found earlier in the shaped charges thread.

Shaped charges are shaped charges. IEDs are something else.
Copper cone IEDs are for penetrating armor, and killing people.
This is military/terrorist info.. Somebody assisted you? Too bad.

I agree; the OP seems sketchy.
