synthesis of 2-(2,2-difluoroethoxy)-6-(trifluoromethyl)benzene-1-sulfonyl chloride
i want to syntheis of 2-(2,2-difluoroethoxy)-6-(trifluoromethyl)benzene-1-sulfonyl chloride from
2- chloro-6-trifluoromethylaniline though ethoxylation
experiment1 :
mixture of 2- chloro-6-trifluoromethylaniline 0.1mol KOH 0.2mol 2,2-difluoroethanol 0.11mol
reaction tem 60 degree
but i find that recation is not react
question :
which method about this reaction , pls tell me ?
pls tell me some refer about this reaction

I think the normal way to ask questions is for the requester to supply some references or idea of why they think the scheme they present should work.
Another way to make the difluorothoxy might be to take the phenol and react it with difluoroethene under basic conditions. I have done that type of
reaction with tetrafluoroethene to make tetrafluoroethoxyphenyl compounds, but do not know if the difluoroethene would work well or what mix of
regiosomers that you would get.
