Here's my update. The battery ran for a couple days in that condition. The SG came up to around 1.15. So I put the battery on a smart charger to finish the absorption and float phases. It completed and provided around 13 volts. I checked the SG to be around 1.22. So I pulled some electrolyte and mixed with 98% acid then added back in. This brought it up to 1.25 or so. Seems good. So I put it on a load a little under 2A. Assuming 10.5v to be the minimum discharge, as shown here, 11.88v is around 35% state of charge. That makes the battery at 20.6Ah/(1-.35)=31.7Ah. So not a bad recovery, still has a useful life. It lost half of its rated capacity of 75Ah.
