Baird and tatlock chem equipment id needed
My guess is some sort of gas analyiser
its in a nice wooden(Oak) box has a black rubber pump,small reagent bottle with a hose at the bottom, u bend with inches on it, six glass bulbs in the
center with the front three have glass tubes in them and some have a Cu spiral, some sort of measuring tube inside a tube on the right.

You are correct, from the days before GC/MS. It is a newer version of the apparatus on page 66 of this book

Looks pretty similar to this gas analysis equipment selling for $900.
Different manufacturer however!

Edit: This sort of apparatus is still in use, a modern version (see below) is apparantly worth $900, this antique is selling for $185!
