Bomex vs Deschem vs Lab-buddy glassware - relatively equal pricing
I just came across this site that has some really good prices especially for distillation setups. I've seen a lot of people on Youtube using Bomex
and it is also sold in major chemistry companies like Fischer, Spectrum and others.
I'm wondering if Bomex is of better quality than Deschem or if it is possible that Deschem is selling unbranded Bomex, because a lot of the pieces
look the same, the kits contain the same things and even the "supplementals" (thermometer, clips, etc) are the same color - IDK if that is a standard
- say green for 24/40 or whatever.

I guess another possibility if Deschem is selling unlabeled and maybe for a little less than Bomex, maybe he gets "seconds", ones that don't pass QC
but are still really good quality, maybe only a cosmetic blemish or something.
The site I linked to also has some products withteh brand "Lab-buddy and the prices seem pretty good, a little more than Bomex or Deschem, but I think
it is American made and doesn't have to be shipped from China, so maybe that price difference could be worth it, especially if you don't want to wait,
deal with customs or deal with possible breakage.
Thoughts?
Anyone come across Lab-Buddy equipment and if so, what quality is it?

My experience with Bomex isn't all that good. I had three bomex graduated cylinders. The top part broke off from all of them in the first day.
On the other hand, I never had problems with deschem glassware.
However, my favorite brands of glassware that I actually own are LabBox and Simax. LabBox especially is pretty cheap and high quality.

Of the 'branded' glassware that I have,
I consider the order of quality to be;
Pyrex/Quickfit, (excellent but not perfect)
Kimble/Simax (good)
Bomex, (O.K. but thin glass)
GG-17, (prettiest Chinese glassware so far)
Lab Glass, (similar to Bomex)
Generic Chinese.
Based on almost no evidence, just my own perception,
I'd rather buy used Pyrex than new Bomex.

I agree with that. Also I have a few items made by Scientific Glass Laboratories in the UK, which are excellent quality. Though for the beakers and
some of the lower-value simple items like flasks, they resell other brands including bomex.
