varian micron 801 vacuum thermocouple gauge not working

We've got a varian 801 vacuum thermocouple gauge that's not working. The needle doesn't move from the off position when it's plugged in. I tested the ac cord and current is getting to the gauge circuit board.

Help appreciated.
