WA is a huge place. Local in that context realistically means "probably closer than 2000km but maybe not".
I know of one West Australian but don't think I should spill information that was given privately.
There are probably several.

I used to live in Perth, grew up there, but I’m based in the UK now though. Greetings my fellow sandgroper!
In chemistry, sometimes the solution is the problem.
