Aqua regia + Iron reaction?

I want to react Iron with aqua regia. Anyone knows what are the products of such a reaction? And can this reaction still occur if I use dilute acids? like 10% nitric acid and 10% HCL concentrated acids?

Why would you waste aqua regia on iron, when iron reacts readily with ordinary hydrochloric acid?

Please remember: "Filtrate" is not a verb.

You're better off just using hydrochloric acid alone, as nitric acid and hydrochloric acid will give a mixture of iron nitrates and iron chlorides, as well as iron oxides from oxidation.
Also, iron passivates in conc. HNO3.
