Synthesis of 1-(2-Chloropropyl)piperidine
Hello,
Quite frankly I'm stumped as to how one would synthesize this compound, could you n-alkylate the piperidine with 1 chloro 2 propanol? Any help would
be much obliged

I think you could , because I found a ref for the synthesis of 1-(2-chloroethyl)piperidine where they reacted piperidine with 2-chloroethanol and then
converted the OH to Cl using thionyl chloride (Maybe TCT/DMF or just HCl could be used ? ) -https://link.springer.com/article/10.1134/S1070427209090134
