3D Printer
Does anyone own a 3D printer ?
This summer i bought one for 138 euros and then another for 108 euros (Finkbrau moment)
Prices have dropped really low for this stuff.
I ask because i am working on a project that requires one.
Details to be published (here) as soon as it is complete, just it would be good to know if anyone on SM could replicate the design with their printer.

I know a guy that does, and could potentially convince him to help.

The project is a couple of polarimeters - a manual one, and a computerised one.
It'd tie up his printer for about a day (each type).
Having said that, most 3D printer owners tend to end up just printing upgrades to their 3D printers in my experience.
A Real project might make his day. Never can tell.

I built my own. It will handle objects up to 240mm diameter and 300mm high.
I am, of course, still printing upgrades for it

I have one, a "Malyan M200", basically the same as a "MP select mini", but a bit cheaper and more available in Europe.
Heated bed, good precision, really cheap. Just needed to add a glass pane for the printbed. (Took it from a picture frame and attached with binder
clips)
