Rotovaps (4 avail) HPLC colums, glasseware - up for auction! starts today ends 3/15

I just came across this yesterday evening - they hide the catalogs until the night before on some of these auctions. Here are some items to start.

If there is enough interest I would drive up to get items and ship myslef instead of dealing with whatever companies they have IF those companies have outrageous quotes. Items would be photographed (videod) while being packed if I do it and insured for value requested by buyer.

I'm waiting to hear back from paypal about policies on returning funds if a bid looses. From reading their policies it seems this would fall under one of their policies for returning funds without a service fee.

There are a lot of centrifuges, mini & regular vortex mixers, balances from microgram precision to .01g up to beam balances, shaker plate, Mass Spectometers, Hydrogenation Apparatus and more.

The starting bids have disappeared for some reason (auction starting today) but all bids get a 25% tax fee added on and I'm waiting on a call to hear about shipping and my registration.

If anyone wants used HPLC columns, I have some I would be happy to sell one at a time, rather than deal with an auction mess. For rotovaps, getting a complete system might be worth the effort, with the vaccum pump they run for $1000 to $4000 typically, from used to nearly new condition. The bottom lot looks pretty valuable, it might be worth $200-400 if split and sold individually. The fees and such would mean you would need to bid 75% of what you think they are worth at maximum, and then shipping may add a lot more, depending on how they have it set up, which is often hard to find out.

What are the 3 items from the right, not counting the first item?

Dewar condensers. You fill the internal chamber with dry ice/acetone or liquid nitrogen and it acts as a very cold condenser that is usually used to keep solvents from going into a vacuum pump.

I'd be interested in one of the rotovaps if the price is right.

here is anothe

03216 2000 ML FRITTED FUNNELS (2) Pyrex Fritted Funnels (2) Kimax Fritted Funnels (2) Chemistry Glass Holders,.jpg - 665kB
These are 2000ml
The Pyrex are listed at $650 each new and the Kimax $625 new. These look to be in good shape. IDK what the clamps are and how much they would cost if they had to be purchased - if anyone knows that would be interesting to know.

I looked at teh Chemglass and they are way more, which I find odd, thinking that Kimax and Pyrex were better quality. The Chemglass were $650- to $1,030
