Small scale dehydrogenation
I think and hope it's not double post.
Does anybody have idea how can it be done?I do not have Pd,Pt,etc...

It probably depends a lot on what system you are trying to dehydrogenate. There were these articles...I think that it was for systems that yield a
conjugated product, I remember having found a lot of information about using selenium (if I remember correctly, elemental) with very decent yields.

As far as I understand, you want to remove 2 hydrogens from an alkane to form a double bond?
Alkanes are generally unreactive, so your best bet is probably a free radical halogenation, followed by an elimination reaction to give the alkene.
However, the halogenation will give a mixture of halogenated compounds, which may be difficult to separate.
What exactly do you want to make and from what? Some specifics would be very helpful.
