Potentiometric Titration HELP

Hey everyone, I have a quick question. I am doing an electropotential titration of a weak acid and I am having trouble dissolving it in solution. However if I make the solution basic by adding a pre-dose of NaOH it dissolves quite nicely. If I titrate the now basic solution of my weak acid can I still gather the equivalence point and pka data?

Just add known amount of NaOH (more than acid) and than titrate unreacted NaOH by acid. If you want just to calculate pKa add equimolar amount of NaOH and measure pH of solution, than calculate pKa.
