2 solvent bioling point elevation
Hello,
I have a question about boiling point elevation.
I was wondering if you have two solvents that are miscible such as Methanol and Acetone, and you dissolve a solute into the mixture, which only
dissolves in the Methanol, and not the acetone, will the boiling point of both solvents go up, or only the one that the solute disolves in.

A liquid with a given composition can only have one boiling point. There is no such thing as a mixture having two boiling points (how would that look
like?). Thus, your question makes no sense.
A solute increases the boiling point of the solvent regardless of the solvent composition (unless the solute is volatile).
