Thorium analogues
I am thinking of looking at some thorium chemistry out of curiosity, more specifically thorium oxide and how it acts with eutectic solvents. Because
of the extreme difficulty in getting thorium, I am thinking of finding the closest analogue to thorium and using that for rough estimates as to how it
will act. Having been unable to find any mention of close thorium analogues other than that it acts more like a d-block element than the lanthanides,
does anyone know a good element to go with?
