Why Analytical Chemistry? + Other Questions About Selecting Major
Why study analytical chemistry?
How much understanding of molecular synthesis will this provide?
What is the difference between organic chemistry and molecular synthesis?
Will analytical chemistry degree help with synthesizing molecules?
(Unrelated English question is it a analytical degree or an analytical degree, thinking it is the latter)

thinking analytical chemistry is the path that I'm going to go now, but some clarification as to the role of analytical chemistry plays would be
appreciated.

Personally I felt that all aspects of chemistry were equally important. If you are attempting to understand chemistry then you will discover a need
for it at some point in time. It will help you identify compounds through various techniques which is very important.
I say take it, why not? Plus usually you end up talking to your adviser and taking classes you may not have anyway. I always felt the more chemistry i
was taking the better however, as i ran out of funding analytical was the only type i wasnt able to take I took all other undergraduate chemistry classes though sans P-Chem
Chemistry is a natural drive, not an interest.
