Titanium diboride Anode
Hi
so i have been looking for good anode for electrolisis for chlorate or perchlorate cell since there not really a perfect electrode for this kind of
work
i have seen that titanium diboride have a good chemical resistance and it is pretty damn hard
and have been looking in the board if there more talk about this material there only one mention in a post about thermite from what i see.
what do you think of that compound ?

It's probably going to passivate, i.e. it will work initially but then your current will drop dramatically as the boron will be oxidised and leached
off the surface as borate and the titanium oxidised to a passivating, but non-conducting, TiO2 layer.
