in 1960 at Chelsea flower show England .they had a Pelargonium grower there who had put into all the newspapers that he could take a cutting of a
Pelargonium and in 3 months have it 4 foot high standard tree, i belonged to the Royal Horticulture Society at the Time, So I went in Early just to
Ask Him, But he would not Tell. But all this Time Wondered, How he did it, Could he have used Something like GIBBERELLIC ACID ,to make the Pelargonium
Grow so Fast. Leaving it with you Hoping you can find out, if you do Please. Please Reply as it has been a long time coming.

This would be a simple experiment to perform would it not ?
I read somewhere that aspirin was used as a 'secret ingredient' by some growers.
This is the closest reference i can easily find :

A simpler approach may be to 'force' the plant by growing it in a tube which you gradually increase in height, so it must grow higher simply to reach
sufficient sunlight.
Edit :
The cuttings should be treated with rooting hormone plus whatever other ingredients you choose for each experiment.
The only way to find out is to experiment.
