Comparison of different suppliers and what elements they sell

Also included Flinn Scientific for those lucky enough to have the ability to order from non-amateur suppliers through a school:

And throw in GalliumSource also.

[Actually Metallium is pretty good overall. If you buy their 76 element set for $695 that is only $9.15 per element, and they are already ampuled. I think anyone buying each element one at a time, and ampuling them by ones self is going to run up a much larger bill than that over time. Saving up to buy that set, then go after the things they don't carry - the actinides and the alkali metals - is a reasonable plan. Just getting the phosphorus sample they provide is these days a non-trivial matter.]

I love how they have pictures of all their products. Probably won't go though security to the USA though.

Alot of the stuff they have they ship to USA. The only stuff I couldn't buy were the Bromine ampules and the 40% HF lol the guy said its "probably not a good idea" and I didn't even push it. But I've ordered a lot of stuff from them and all of them came through.

Lol makes me think of a joke... I would gladly give both of my testicles to be able to order from sigma aldrich.

Also, onyxmet seems to good to be true. Maybe amateur chemistry is safe in Poland, but they sell stuff like huge bags of red P, iodine, hydrofluoric acid, fluorine ampoules... if you order that, the package will probably get confiscated once it reaches the US

Well not trying to hype anything up but I ordered some red P from them and I live in California. I still have over half of it left if you need visual assurance. Either way even the normal chemicals they have are way cheaper than any other source I've seen (besides the chinese ebay sellers) but then again you cant find everything on Ebay that these guys have.

I just did a search on Sigma
and apparently $121 gets u 5 grams of red P those guys have me 100 times that with half the amount of money...

It really strikes me tho as how they make profits since they dont seem to be having that much of a business flow(seems to me atleast)

Rules are different in different parts of the world, so this does not need to be an indication of shadyness or illicity.

I can confirm that Onyxmet is a fine seller of chemicals. The company has a wide selection of rare chemicals, which makes it interesting to me. For me, the most interesting things are not the more common items like red P and I2, but weird stuff like WCl6, PBr5, TiO, Eu2O3 and element samples of hard to obtain elements. They ship a lot of chemicals internationally (although not everything they sell) and the materials are packaged very well and safely. For some chemicals, they require so-called HAZMAT shipping, which can be quite expensive.
