molar heat capacities Cv and Cp

For a non ideal gas, would you find Cv using the constants a, b, and c (assuming these are given) in the formula

Cv = a + bT + c/T^2

where T is the initial temperature (right?)
Then you can find Cp from Cp=Cv + R

Is this correct?
Thanks for your help.
