Searching the forum
Madscientist,
Is there any way that the forum search engine could be upgraded to include Boolean searches? I'm finding it incredibly cumbersome to search the
cache of knowledge contained here.

The search engine for this board is lousy and unlikely to be improved. Fortunately, all but Whimsy is indexed by google.
So go to google and type in
your query terms site:sciencemadness.org
PGP Key and corresponding e-mail address

It is possible to incorporate the google search into individual sites:
http://www.google.com/searchcode.html
That way you can stick to google search bar into the search page to search sciencemadness.org.
