thermometer for vacuum oven
We got a vacuum oven from an auction. It doesn't have a thermometer. I'm wondering what might be the best way to monitor the temperature. I tried
putting a regular oven thermometer in it but I don't know how accurate that is going to be in a vacuum.
I want to use it to activate molecular sieve.

A thermo couple attachment for a multimeter is what I use.

Could you give more details on how you set it up?
Thanks.

A standard glass thermometer should work fine in a vacuum. But a simple metal oven thermometer might be simpler and less likely to break. They cost
a few bucks at the grocery. You don't need a great deal of accuracy in a vacuum over thermometer.
