tryptamine green synth
I've been attempting to convert tryptophan to tryptamine using glycerol as a hbps, the only drawback is purifying the tryptamine from the reaction
mixture. Any ideas on separating polyols from primary amines?

Yeah, just do a distillation of it. It'll come over. Tryptamine is much more volatile than glycerol.
What was the temperature required to accomplish the decarboxylation?
