Hydrogenation of a conjugated keytone with Pt or Ru or Cu-Cr, or Ni
I know for a regular non-conjugated keytone if will just reduce to an alcohol.
If it is conjugated with a C=C bond does it still reduce to an alcohol and alkane?
Thanks
EDIT: Might as well include "what if conjugated with a phenyl?" Thanks!

Some will, some will not.

There is a complete version posted out there somewhere. This appears to be only a preview.
