Anhydrous Copper Nitrate reactivity?

I've managed to get 100g of pure Anhydrous Copper(II) Nitrate, and I have heard it''s highly reactive, and has a very high affinity for water. I was wondering if it can break the 68% azetrope in Nitric Acid, and what experiments may be cool. Also could Anhydrous Magnesium Nitrate be prepared any easier with this?
