HMTD with glacial acetic acid

I heard that using glacial acetic acid instead of citric acid for HMTD production results in massive yields, anyone know the proper amounts for it to replace citric acid?

Acetic acid is weaker acid, the "massive yields" are probably a myth. You can also use HCl or any other acid.
