Methanol, thf substitutes?
Are there solvents that can be used instead of methanol or THF, both are hard to obtain at the moment.

Methanol is readily available in most places as it is a key reagent in the production of biodiesel.
Have a look on eBay where you live.
THF is slightly harder but it is used as a professional cleaning solvent, etc so have a look round, make a case and Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your
aunt, you will have THF!
