Does anyone else have problems with post notifications?
I noticed something that hasn't happened very often in the past; the case where a user would post a new post and notifications would not be sent or
received properly. I remember this happening on several occasions in the past, but now, this is happening so often that I'm missing a substantial
amount of good discussion. This is a difficult problem to detect because you cannot be aware of what you're not made aware of--if that makes any sense
at all. The only way to know if this is happening is to return to a thread and physically check if there are new posts, but I'm lazy.
I'm just curious to know if other people have encountered the same problem, where along the chain of events the error is being made, and what can be
done to fix it.
Note: I've been a member for long enough to know that you have to subscribe to a thread first before receiving notifications.
