Detritus
I think the Detritus forum could be closed so only moderators and administrators can look in it. I know I am not a moderator, but anyway, everyone can
find things there about drugs and explosives, so wouldn't it be a good idea to make it non-viewable like the Moderators' Lounge?

Similar musings were recently discussed in this thread.
woelen commented that a post's place in Detritus highlights its lack of credibility and I'm inclinded to agree. That we openly
display what is not tolerated serves as a warning to those who would discuss it and a demonstration to those who would call our forum dangerous that
we self-regulate perfectly well.
This should probably be merged with the linked thread.

I respectfully disagree. On occasion some interesting bit of information happens to be sent to the rubbish bin along with all the other trash in the
thread. At least with the detritus section, nothing actually gets deleted from view. It just gets sent to where it belongs.
It can also sometimes be amusing to look through the detritus section.
