Gattermann's 1909 lab manual
The subject manual is in the forum library but I cannot retrieve it.
Instead I get the following message:
"The file is broken and cannot be repaired."
Is anyone else having this problem?

Gatterman's book is not the only file that I have been unable to download. Pehaps one of the moderators could examine the library files.

The library files are currently hosted on a shared server paid for by member Eliteforum. The shared server is very cheap and appears to interrupt file
transfers after about 30 seconds or so. That means that if you do not have a fast connection, or if the host itself is slow, you will get only corrupt
partial downloads of larger documents.
The solution is to download files with a download manager or tool that supports resuming partial downloads. I use wget. On Windows it's probably most
convenient to use a download manager that integrates with your web browser.
I should put this information on the library page itself.
Edit: library index page now updated with this information.

library issues
i wonder if anyone else is having this problem.
PDF books from the library that i try to open (either in the browser or offline after saving them) always stall and crash acrobat reader. this doesn't
happen with PDF attachments in the forum, though.
