Density and volume is this correct please?
I have a Balanced equation thus:
5.6g + 126g = 24.2g + 13.8g + 5.4g
But the 126g is nitric acid. I know this can not be 126mls so I found that the density of HNo3 is 1.5. To arrive at the correct amount of mls of
HNo3 I did this:
1000mls = 1500grams; therefore 0.67ml = 1 gram;
Therefore 126*0.67 = 84.42 mls of nitric acid is the close equivalent to 126grams in my equation?
I just need to make sure that I am understanding all the calculations correctly. thanks.
