Free lab table
As per my post here: http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=19852#...
I have a genuine lab table, if anyone has a need for it. You'll have to pick it up, or pay for delivery.

Thanks, I am alas in North Wales and can't pick it up all too easily, and the shipping I assume would be very expensive as IME those lab tables are
bloody heavy!

It is indeed heavy, it would cost about £60 to have it delivered. It cost me close to £600 to buy!

I can't find any company that'll deliver to Belgium for less than £1,000. If you want it, then I suggest you do some leg work

Try U2Uing the active British members here.... perhaps if you ask them directly (maybe they haven't seen this thread?) someone will answer. Hold
on.... what about your lab? Is there nowhere you could install it there?

Not enough room, else I'd keep it. Like i've said it did cost me a fair bit, hence my reluctance to see it go to waste.
I'd rather not spam people's inbox, I'll try gumtree or some other such website.

I'm sure people wouldn't mind you spamming their inbox for the possibility of getting £600 worth of gear for free

Alas, a great shame as I have neither the room in my car for transport, nor my lab to install it, and a proper bench would really beat my old,
battered Staples desk. You're not far down the M1 either...
Just a thought, could you maybe convert it to mount on the wall and fold down like those awful cabin bunks in ferries, so it's out of the way when not
in use?
Or, if a member can't use it, perhaps a local school could benefit from a donation?

Doubt schools around these parts would take it, they get funded out of the educational fund set by the government. Plus, that's more effort than I'd
like to put in to shifting it.
Here's the table in question.
