Lab clear out
Hello.
I have access to some chemicals and instrumentation. Please u2u or post what you need.
I have no listed chemicals and cannot acquire them so do not ask.
Things I can supply are:
Petri dishes
Vacuum grease
Beakers / grad cylinders
miscellaneous lab equip.
I still have 1 vacuum pump (alcatel 2002bb)
Micro hot plate / stirrer (smallest one you'll ever see!)
Stir bars (all sizes)
Chemicals are varied.
Glass ware is limited to beakers, evaporation dishes, and grad/ cylinders. A few gas exchangers, but not many people will need those here.
Please ask for things in particular. Thanks.
I am very low on money and plan a large trip soon, so I have to sell all my stuff unfortunately

How much would shipping on small items for the UK be?

I don't know, shipping to Canada would probably be <20$. It depends on what chemicals.
to the UK would be... anywhere from 17 - 35$ shipping? I'm not familiar with international stuff. This is for a larger item - 8lbs or something. Small
stuff that can fit in an envelope or tiny box will be less, of course.
Perhaps use ebay as a reference for shipping costs?

The stir plate is like this but cubed - not cylindrical
http://www.enasco.com/prod/images/products/33/AC092463.jpg Works fine for 250mL refluxes @ ~150°C (highest I've gone).
The gas exchangers (don't know correct term) are for multiple reaction set ups. They have 1 inlet (for nitrogen) one main outlet, and 4-5 smaller
outlets, so you can have back pressure of N2 on 4-5 reaction flasks.

No perchlorates that I know of, and I don't know of any ammonium compounds either.
I went through again and I can't find my agno3 - I found AgO, but perhaps I looked over the AgNO3.
