Magnesium Carbonate
Hi All,
I've got a question regarding magnesium carbonate and something called magnesium hydroxide carbonate. Now i've read online that magnesium carbonate
itself is hydroscopic, and it forms hydrates and also exists in basic forms.
I obtained some stuff labeled magnesium carbonate but the formula on the container is MgCO3Mg(OH2) 4H2O and lists a mw of ~323. If I were using this
to make a complex salt out of CDTA (magnesium disodium cdta to be exact), how would I know based on moles how much to use to titrate to a balance?
