Demethylation?
Hello,
I have realised, that demethylation is very important reaction in organic synthesis, but how can it be done? I think, it is very difficult.
Thanks

There is not any "one size fits all" demethylation procedure. The reaction routes used will depend on the starting compound, and in some cases will
involve multiple reaction steps.

What exactly are you thinking of demethylating? This would help with regard to giving suitable solutions to your queries.
