How can I get the copper out of nitric acid so I can reuse the nitric acid?

Are you aware that part of nitrogen escaped in the form of nitrogen dioxide (reduced nitric acid V->IV) while you were oxidizing copper from 0 to II? You can not retrieve it anymore. It left the system.

You can pyrolize it. After initial release of deliquescent water, and then crystal water, it will release nitrogen dioxide and oxygen, and copper(II) oxide will remain. You can lead those gasses into a small amount of water, producing a weak solution of nitric acid.

One way or another, it's lousy and ineffective way to get few mililiters of acid.
What's wrong with copper(II) nitrate hexahidrate (or trihidrate, if you heat it over 26°C)? Those are lovely blue crystals.
