General Electrochemistry Scaling Question
So I am pretty new to electro-chemistry only briefly touched on it in general chemistry. Any good books/websites on the topic as recommendations would
be very appreciated.
My main question is about repeating experiments cited in literature, at larger or smaller scales. This is kind of vague and broad certainly but I'm
hoping someone can shine a little light on this .
Please correct me if any of the following(below) is wrong or flawed logic:
Increasing the surface area of the electrodes requires an increase in amperage, to maintain the same ''current density(?)'' amps/cm^2.
If a procedure says for example have a 2 mmol solution of substrate ''X'', then one could assume that maintaining the same molarity would suffice if
the volume of solvent and substance involved was increased(right?).
Is there anything else to keep in mind?
