I've never needed socks for my fritted funnel.
I just don't let it walk around outdoors and it doesn't get too dirty.
I did buy it sandals for days at the beach though.
But seriously, I've never heard this terminology before. Are these like low-ash Soxhlet thimbles?

May I suggest PRM filtration as a source
Seriously though.
Those aren't normally used with a fritted funnel.
They are hung above a collection basin.
For a fritted funnel, usually very coarse frit, you can use filter paper of the appropriate diameter.
If you really want a sock, you can make one from a sock for a shop vac.
Use cellulose or polypropylene of the correct pore size for your purpose.
Remember a sock isn't an exact fit, so it may or may not achieve what you want.
I recommend an actual filter paper (pick the material and pore size) if you don't want something clogging the frit.
Filter socks are good for filtering things like calcium sulfate but for that you probably don't need the buchner.
Hang it over the basin and let it drain. Dump in more solvent and let it drain again.
Nylon stockings work ok but lets a lot of gunk through.
Cotton cloth also works for hard to filter substances.
That gets us back to vacuum bags/socks.
