2,4,6-Trinitrophenol Salts
Hi Everyone 
I'm new to the Forum and this is my first post
I synthesized 2,4,6 Trinitrophenol and was trying out several of the salts. I had the best results with the potassium salt. However, I could never
really get the Ammonium salt to do anything interesting. I couldn't get it to detonate through shock or friction, and it acted as a dead weight when I
tried to use the potassium salt of TNP to initiate it.
Is this common behavior for the ammonium salt?

Yes. Thats why it was filled as Explosive D (Dunite) In armor pircing shells.

Kalium picrate explodes, been ignited in confinement. Ammonium is very insensitive. I mixed it with AN. But this mix requires some initiator. maybe
lead picrate- I do not know- I used hated by many guys TATP.
Women are more perilous sometimes, than any hi explosive.
