Doesn't deforestation lead to less oxygen supply?is it because majority of it is from marine plants or the CO2 issue is bigger?

he said that the problem is not less oxygen, but too much CO2.
the total mass of the atmosphere is 5.1480×10^18 kg, the total oxygen is a fifth of that, even by burning all the biomass the total oxygen wouldn't lower by much. the CO2 is the problem. mybe he was referring to the fact that some people think that the problem is depleating the oxygen and not the increase of CO2, which is wrong

Still, in that scenario the production of oxygen would of course drop to nearly zero, which would very quickly become a major problem, in addition to the massive increase in CO2.
