I been trying to find ways to dissolve paraffin waxes, and so far been very fruitless for the desired goals, but apparent;y it is said Amyl alcohol
when warm effectively dissolves it and remains very inert to other esters.
I have no first hand experience with this substance.
Next question if true where to get it in a moderate volume? for me that will be 1 to 2 L to experiment with (Some will be used to copy Nurdrages
Grignard experiments!)
