Dissolving ketone
Hello!
I'm trying my first NaBH4 amination following instructions on rhodium and hive. All of them have a step where you add ketone to MeAm saturated MeOH
under 5C temperature. But when I try to do this it doesn't dissolve and actually blocks the stirbar. I'm thinking dissolve ketone in MeOH and then
add. Is that what should be done?

After I add ketone in MeOH and start adding NaBH4 I get white precipitate in the flask that stops my stirbar so reaction stops unless I manually swirl
the flask
