How can i purify NH4NO3 fertilizer?
I got some NH4NO3 fertilizer from store to make rocket fuel by mixing it with sugar but the fertilizer seems to mixed with something else as it didn't
burned when i tried to ignite the mix, i also tried mixing it with Al powder but it also didn't worked. I tries to recrystallize it but again it
doesn't seems to work at all. So can someone tell me how can i get pure NH4NO3 out of that fertilizer.

What this gentleman did should be a good start.
After doing as he did it might be a good idea to recrystallize from methanol.
Recystallization of Ammonium Nitrate.
